Plight of Members Employed by Private Providers

This Branch has over 3000 members and whilst a majority are employees of EEAST, we also support those who work for private providers that deliver on NHS contracts awarded by CCGs.

They are just as valued as those that work for EEAST but are often overlooked despite often having to endure Terms and Conditions that are far less favourable.

Covid 19 has impacted everyone that works within the Ambulance sector but whilst some providers, particularly those within the NHS, have ensured their employees are supported and financially protected during the pandemic, the same cannot be said for others.

E-zec is one such example and their actions and that of the CCG are causing financial hardship for our members. You can read more about their plight by opening the following link.
