In line with the UNISON rule book and Branch rules and in line with the code of good branch practice each UNISON branch is required to elect reps and officers annually.
The UNISON EEAST Branch AGMs will be held at two locations – one on 22 March and one the following week, with a venue in the West locality and one in the East locality. (Further details of venues and times of the AGM will be communicated to members via email and on this website.)
Those wishing to be elected workplace rep/steward, health and safety rep/steward or branch officers must do the following:
If any member wants to be a rep/steward for their workplace or H&S rep/steward their workplace/area they need to complete the relevant election form (below) and:
1. Have displayed the below departmental rep form at their usual place of work for 21 days prior to 25 January 2019 (the closure of the nomination period),
2. Sent a copy of the departmental rep form that has been completed and displayed in the Freepost envelope by 5pm on 25 January 2019.
If any member wants to be a branch officer they are required to complete the Branch officer nomination form and send the completed form back in the pre-paid envelope by 5pm on 25 January 2019.
